1. D.TRADING turns seven this year. What does this milestone mean to you personally?

Seven years may not seem long, but for us it represents several eras at once: growth, transformation, crisis, and resilience.

We built D.TRADING in a highly competitive environment and learned how to operate at scale under extreme pressure. Today, this anniversary is less about age and more about maturity as a team, as a business, and as a strategic energy player.

2. How has the company evolved since its early days?

In 2019 when D.TRADING was originated as the commercial arm of DTEK, the company mainly focused on classic trading operations.

Over the last years, I can proudly say that we evolved into a multi-market, multi-commodity platform, deeply integrated into European energy flows.

The most significant shift, however, has been in our role - from a market participant to an energy security enabler, connecting regions, diversifying supply routes, and supporting system stability.

3. russia’s full-scale invasion fundamentally changed Ukraine’s energy landscape. How did it change D.TRADING?

The war was a serious crash test for everything - our systems, our people, and our decision-making.

We had to operate in conditions where speed, flexibility, and reliability were no longer competitive advantages, but absolute necessities.

It also reinforced our sense of responsibility. Every cargo, every contract, every route mattered not only commercially, but strategically. That awareness continues to define how we operate today.

4. What achievement of the past years are you most proud of?

Above all, I am proud of the team.
Today, D.TRADING can boast of a very diverse team that includes 17 different nationalities. And all of them demonstrate remarkable ability to successfully operate in conditions of uncertainty and extraordinary pressure, both literal and figurative.
From opening new LNG corridors to securing supply when it mattered most, our results are the outcome of responsibility, trust, and a shared sense of purpose.

5. D.TRADING plays an increasing role in regional energy security. How do you view this responsibility personally?

Energy security today is collective.

What happens in Ukraine directly affects the wider region - and the same is true in reverse.

By developing routes such as the Southern LNG corridor (Route 1), leveraging Ukraine’s storage capacity, and integrating more deeply with European markets, we are contributing to a more resilient regional energy system. Not just for today, but for the future.

6. Looking ahead, what will define the next chapter for D.TRADING?

The next phase is about scaling our impact:

• deeper European integration

• long-term LNG strategies

• smarter use of storage and system flexibility

• continued investment in resilience

At the same time, we remain pragmatic. Markets evolve, risks change, and we will continue to adapt just like we always have.

D.TRADING is seven years old because of the people who stand behind it and the partners who believe in what we do.
