D.TRADING participated in ETCSEE 2026, one of Central and South Eastern Europe’s leading conferences for power and gas market professionals, held on 10–11 June in Budapest, Hungary.
The event brought together more than 700 energy trading professionals, including traders, utilities, exchanges, infrastructure operators, regulators and market experts, to discuss the latest developments shaping the region’s energy landscape. As energy markets continue to evolve amid geopolitical uncertainty, decarbonisation efforts and increasing cross-border integration, ETCSEE remains a key platform for industry dialogue and collaboration.
Representing D.TRADING at the conference, Daniel Hacki, Commercial Director Europe, joined the panel discussion "The Next LNG Crisis: What It Means for Regional Energy Security and Markets." Together with leading experts from across the European gas sector, he explored how potential future disruptions in global LNG markets could affect regional energy security, pricing dynamics, infrastructure utilisation and market stability across Central and South Eastern Europe.
The discussion examined the growing importance of LNG in Europe's energy mix, the challenges associated with changing supply routes and demand patterns, and the need for enhanced regional cooperation to strengthen market resilience. Participants also exchanged views on how market participants can navigate volatility while supporting secure and competitive energy supplies for the region.
In addition to contributing to the conference programme, the D.TRADING team met with partners, clients and industry peers to discuss developments in power and gas trading, renewable energy integration, LNG markets and evolving commercial opportunities across Europe.
D.TRADING remains committed to supporting transparent, liquid and integrated energy markets across Europe and values opportunities to contribute its expertise to industry discussions that help shape the future of the sector.
